I Think Tata Should Give up Now.
Cribb sent in my Gautam Ratra.
I was an admirer of Tata till some time back but my experience with Tata Sky has changed it.
Reason?
1. If something goes wrong with your Tata Sky and an engineer visit is required, you have to shell out 350 for it , not only this if they have put a small jointer which is used to join wires they charge another 100 bucks for that. Why do they forget that they are charging the subscription money and if there is a problem they should solve it FOC until and unless there is a regular case of customer negligence. I recently learned that Airtel and DishTV are not charging for the service
2. If u have to call customer care the numbers given in the “contact us ” are STD numbers (for Delhi), so u call them and wait fro 10 minutes until someone comes on the phone and keep on paying for phone bills. To my surprise they have a customer care number for Delhi which is not mentioned in the “contact us” section.
3. Loads of promotional SMS’s, which cannot be stopped until and unless u get your number deleted from their records and if u do so u , u wont even receive your account details.
By the way, Delhi service center number is 011-60006633
Why dont you give up Tata Sky 🙂
Arash, i would have given up tata sky , had tata refunded me RS. 7500 (For 3 connections) charged at the time of installation and just for your knowledge 7500 is a huge amount for me. 🙂
Gautam, just because you cannot give up tata sky, u r asking tata sky to give up..that’s unfair 🙂
Arash, it appears as if u r working for Tata, I feel that it is my social responsibilty to make people aware of the problems one may face with Tata Sky.
You very well know for which Group I am working… But yes, Tata group is certainly one of my Dream Companies… But but but, u should definitely be socially responsible … Good job!!
