Coca-cola is not! You can live for a week drinking just milk and fruit juices but do that will coca-cola and see the result. It is just as bad as over-consuming anything ... even fruits, milk, high-protein diet if consumed in high quantities can be harmful. A lot of the things that you have listed are from chain-mails that circulate the internet year after year. They are myths. The vinegar that we consume so easily in food is also a great household cleaner. Even fruit juices are acidic, milk is acidic, curd is acidic ... these acids are broken down by our saliva when consumed. Anyway, enough of the science lecture. I appreciate that you are honestly trying to create awareness through your blog. It would have been better if you would have focused more on the money angle involved in these cola-wars, something that you started the post with. Nehruji went west he did not lost his originality but opened a window to allow to enter in room what he thought good for nation. There were no two character holder celeberties/leader/sports person in that era. Now things are reversed one character person is rated as poor/orthodox/foolish/not smart/undiplomatic/unprogressive and what not.Gandhiji policy of progress revolved arround principle of 'END AND MEANS'fitting to our system of livily hood.Our leader used to be morally resposible for their acts and efforts were on side to be rated as roll moddle.Why only talk of coke/pepsi advts done by celeberties whom our innocent/emotional public pay deep sence of love and regard, in all most all adds these clebrities exploits emotions of our innocent public for selfish gain of money power in a clandestine way supported by media.
