Our law has become so relaxed that even rape has become just an article in the newspaper… this has gone far enough. We need to take stand and give out a very strong message to the people who even think of committing such heinous crime. If a rape is proven then there should not be any other punishment apart from death sentence. This is the only way to instill fear. Delhi being the capital of India is the first amongst the number of rape cases… there will be hundreds more which are not even reported to the police. There are major reforms need, police officers should be educated to take this as an ultra sensitive issue and not start questioning the girl herself who would have show so much courage to report the crime.

High Court ok’s BRT in Delhi

For all people who use the BRT, know what pain private commuters have to go through while relatively how easy it is for public transport users to travel.. keeping this in mind, i am all for getting the common man to commute with ease however this is not to say that private vehicles owners should suffer. I agree with NGO Nyaya Bhoomi where BB Sharan said that bus lanes on BRT generally remain empty while there is heavy traffic jam in other lanes. Clearly BRT is not the solution or rather such narrow private vehicles lanes do not work on BRT. BRT is best implemented where a new city or town is coming up where you can have broad roads for both busses and cars. On the current BRT if even one private vehicle breaks down there will be traffic jam for hours and same is the case in the bus lanes. I don’t why Delhi administration is overlooking such vital signs…

Gmail offers free SMS facility in India

Google has now enabled users of its gmail mail service to send out free sms to their contacts by adding their phone number. Each user will get 50 credits daily and each credit will represent 1 sms. If you send out SMS from gmail to your friends and they reply back via sms, it will be delivered straight to your inbox. Very coo! So how does Google make money from this? Well.. there is always Google ads which appear in your mailbox but it does have tie up with major telecom operators and each outgoing sms generated from these operators will result in some kind of revenue sharing with Google.

Is Robert Vadra aam aadmi?

With the latest Robert Vadra and DLF scandal, the entire Congress clan has come to Robert’s defense… mostly calling him an “aam aadmi” (common man) who is being put accused for things which he has not even committed.

Don’t you think calling Robert Vadra an aam aadmi is a quite a stretch… he this was the case then every person in India would be given SPG, all common people of India would be exempt from being frisked or stopped at any airport of India… and various other Kingly luxuries which have been granted to him.

Please comment on what you make out of this controversy. I applaud Arvind Kejriwal to come forth and expose such racquets which haven also been done previously by Dr. Subramanian Swamy (Chief of Janta Dal) but some how congress always found a way to supress them.

Women sells daughters for Rs.155

In a country where the Government is willing give cellphones to people below the poverty line, they are unable to provide basic amenities such as water, electricity and food. I read an article in HT today which says that a mother was forced to sell her 3 daughters for Rs.155 due to extreme poverty. Her 3 year old was sold for Rs.30, 7 year old for Rs.25 and the eldest 9 year old for Rs.100

This is just one of the incident which was highlighted by the media. In this country people get screwed by the second by their own “elected” government… What a shame!
